What’s Included in the Shower Softener System?
The shower softener system comes with an ACF filter and a shower water softener, working together to purify and soften your shower water. Plus, it includes all the components you’ll need for installation and recharging.
Short Shower Hose
A short shower hose, used to connect the ACF filter and the shower softener.
Shower Hoses
The shower hose connect the system to the handheld showerhead. The system includes two hoses—one 59 inches long and the other 79 inches—so you can choose the right length for your showerhead height.
Water Pump and Hose
The water pump is used for recharging and will need to be powered by a portable charger that you provide. When using it, try to keep water away from the USB port. If water does get on it, make sure to dry it right away to avoid issues next time.
Water Test Strips
Water test strips are used to check for changes in water hardness and chlorine levels before and after installing the system.
Plumber’s Tape
Plumber’s tape is used to prevent leaks.
When installing the handheld showerhead, you can apply it to the connection point between the shower bracket and the outlet.
If a pre-installed brass fitting ever leaks, you can remove it with a wrench, wrap more tape around it, and then tighten it back up to stop the leak.
1/2-Inch Wrench
The 1/2-inch wrench is used for installing the showerhead and the system.
Brass Fitting Wrench
If the pre-installed brass fitting leaks, you can use this wrench to unscrew and reinstall it. It’s usually not needed, but it’s good to have just in case.
Filter Wrench
This wrench is used when replacing the ACF filter cartridge.
Sealing Rings
Includes 4 spare sealing rings that you can use if the sealing ring on the shower hose is lost.
